Chlorobutyl & Bromobutyl Linings
Blair’s Chlorobutyl and Bromobutyl linings have superior resistance to ozone, sunlight, and weathering with high-quality chemical and permeation resistance. They may be used for chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite, superphosphoric acid and sulfuric acid. Chlorobutyl is used in FGD scrubbers and mixed applications. Chlorobutyl is heat resistant to 200°F for most acids and caustcs. Bromobutyl is heat resistant to 260°F for most acids and caustics.
