Chlorobutyl Rubber Linings

Blair's Chlorobutyl and Bromobutyl linings have superior resistance to ozone, sunlight and weathering with high-quality chemical and permeation resistance.

Benefits of Chlorobutyl Rubber

Chlorobutyl is used in FGD scrubbers and mixed applications. It offers several benefits:

Heat Resistance (up to 200°F)
High Impermeability
Fast Cure Rates
Steam & Fire Resistance
Good Adhesion

Bromobutyl offers similar advantages and is heat resistant up to 260°F for most acids and caustics. We recommend using these linings for chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite, superphosphoric acid and sulfuric acid.
